The strength of Team Work !

Welcome to 85th Monday Musings:

Once, President of US went out to see the situation of the city. Somewhere a group of soldiers was trying to lift a large branch of a tree from their way.

The Corporal was standing by their side instructing them to work harder, but they were unable to move it.

A stranger was riding on his horse and he observed what was going on.

He said to the Corporal "if you help them they will be able to move it. Why don’t you help them? "

The Corporal replied "That is not my job, I am the Corporal. It is their work, they should do it."

The stranger did not hesitate a moment, immediately he dismounted from his horse, and helped the group of the soldiers to move that log.

This additional strength helped them to move the log. After moving it, the stranger mounted his horse and said to the Corporal "Next time you need to move some heavy thing and you need a help, call for the Commander-in Chief" and went away his way.

It was then that the men realized that the stranger was none other than George Washington, the first President of the United States, and the Commander-in-Chief of the arm

Moral of the story :

·       Never shy to do any work, no work is small.
·       Teamwork always Yields good results, and every member of team need support sometime, People have forgotten what team work is all about.
·       And if you are at higher position, always be humble, likewise A fruit full tree always bend toward earth.

Dirt !

Welcome to 84th Monday Musings:

One day a farmer's donkey fell down into a well.

The animal cried piteously for hours as the farmer tried to figure out what to do.

Finally, he decided the animal was old, and the well needed to be covered up anyway;

It just wasn't worth it to retrieve the donkey.

He invited all his neighbors to come over and help him.

They all grabbed a shovel and began to shovel dirt into the well.

At first, the donkey realized what was happening and cried horribly. Then, to everyone's amazement he quieted down.

A few shovel loads later, the farmer finally looked down the well.

He was astonished at what he saw.

With each shovel of dirt that hit his back, the donkey was doing something amazing. He would shake it off and take a step up.

As the farmer's neighbors continued to shovel dirt on top of the animal, he would shake it off and take a step up.

Pretty soon, everyone was amazed as the donkey stepped up over the edge of the well and happily trotted off!

Moral of the story :

Life is going to shovel dirt on you, all kinds of dirt. The trick to getting out of the well is to shake it off and take a step up. Each of our troubles is a steppingstone. We can get out of the deepest wells just by not stopping, never giving up! Shake it off and take a step up.

Remember the five simple rules to be happy:

1.    Free your heart from hatred - Forgive.
2.    Free your mind from worries - Most never happens.
3.    Live simply and appreciate what you have.
4.    Give more.
5.    Expect less from people but more from God.

Mobile phones !

Welcome to 83rd Monday Musings:

This is story of a person, who could be anyone from us.

As usual she used to keep her mobile phone in her handbag. Once her handbag was stolen which was containing her mobile phone, credit card, wallet etc. etc.

She tried to find her handbag and once she couldn't find her handbag she called her hubby after 20 minutes from a pay phone.

She told him what had happened,

Hubby said:  'I received your text asking about our Pin number of debit card and I've replied a little while ago

When they rushed down to the bank, the bank staff told them all the money was already withdrawn.

The thief had actually used the stolen cell phone to text 'hubby' in the contact list and got hold of the pin number.

Within 20 minutes thief had withdrawn all the money from their bank account

Moral of the story :

1.    Do not disclose the relationship between you and the people in your contact list. Avoid using names like Home, Honey, Hubby, Sweetheart, Dad, Mom, etc....
2.    And very importantly, when sensitive info is being asked through texts, CONFIRM by calling back
3.    Always enable auto lock in mobile with password protection.
4. Don't leave any sensitive or important information in mobile in form of text messages or mails

Well moral is not finished here, whenever you're being texted by any friend or family member to meet them at somewhere, be sure to call back to confirm that the message came from them, and If you can’t reach them, be very careful about going places to meet family and friends' whoever text you..

Don't be Arrogant !

Welcome to 82nd Monday Musings:

A municipality officer stopped at corps fields in Texas, and talked with an old farmer.

He told the farmer, "I need to inspect your ranch for illegally grown drugs."

The farmer said, "Okay, but don't go in that field over there.....", as he pointed out the location.

The municipality officer verbally exploded saying, “Mister, I have the authority of  the Federal Government with me !"

Reaching into his rear pants pocket, he removed his badge and proudly displayed it to the farmer.  "See this badge?!  This badge means I am allowed to go wherever I wish. on any land  !!  No questions asked or  answers given!!  Have I made myself clear......do you  understand ?!!"

The farmer nodded politely, apologized, and went about his chores.

A short time later, the old farmer heard loud screams, looked up, and saw the municipality officer running for his life, being chased by the farmer's BIG BULL. With every step the bull was gaining ground on the officer, and it seemed likely that he'd sure enough  get gored before he reached safety.

The officer was clearly terrified.  The farmer threw down his tools, ran to the fence and yelled at the top of his lungs.....

"Your badge, show him your BADGE!!!

Moral of the story :

1.    Don’t show arrogance while using your authority. Use it with logic and common sense.

2.    Let the other person speak if he wants to say something. It clarifies doubts & confusions.
